limited edition version of the Mannen Mouhitsu brush pen, created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the series.

The set Mannen Mouhitsu no. 50 includes:

- brush pen with casing in luxurious gold color, with bristle brush;

- replaceable precision polyacetal tip with brush shape;

- 3 cartridges with black water-based pigment ink;

- an elegant wooden box - one of the traditional Japanese products (Kiri/Paulownia box);

- premium paper wrapper.

Use the bristle brush to achieve a variety of lines. High-quality precision polyester bristle brushes with excellent durability are ideal for both delicate fine lines and dynamic broader strokes.

Interchangeable precision brush pen tip made of polyacetal. Polyacetal is an organic chemical compound, a high-strength polymer with excellent elasticity that glides smoothly on paper. It is also used to make lines of different widths. The case of Mannen Mouhitsu no. 50 has a luxurious metallic surface in gold color.

The traditional Japanese case is made of Kiri wood. Kiri or Mossy Paulownia/Emperial Paulownia is distinguished by its lightweight, moisture-resistant wood with a satin finish. It is the lightest wood in Japan, and is used most often to store valuables.

There is a Japanese tradition of planting a Kiri tree at the birth of a daughter. Such a tree grows until marriage, when a piece of furniture is made from it as a wedding gift.

Urushi

Manne Mouhitsu's surface refers to the traditional Japanese Urushi lacquer technique.

Urushi is made from the resin / sap of the lacquer tree (Rhus Verniciflua). The trees are incised every few days in an appropriate manner and the sap is collected. The entire process is done without the addition of machinery. Only up to 200 ml of "lacquer" is collected from one tree per season.

This technique is valuable not only because of the value of the raw material, but also because it is time-consuming - the varnish is applied in many thin layers with breaks for curing. Urushi does not dry, but cures in humid (85%) air, in special cabinets. The finished Urushi is resistant to moisture, heat, salt, etc. The most talented craftsmen produce items that will serve for decades. With all this being said, it should be noted that Urushi has a beautifully shiny surface that is pleasant to the touch.
