Set of dry Pastel Pencils - Caran d'Ache - 12 colors

Pastel Pencils is a set of the highest quality pastel crayons. In order to achieve such a high level of quality, Caran d'Ache took care of the highest possible purity of the raw materials used. Each color created is unique and one of a kind. It took over six months of testing to achieve such brilliant colors, adequate smoothness and durability.

The paste, which is the stylus of the crayon, is processed by hand and introduced into round dies that give the appropriate shape. Then it is dried thoroughly in a special oven. The finished pens are carefully glued between two pieces of cedar wood. Then the finished crayons are cut out and four layers of clear varnish are applied to them. The next step is to apply a color to the tip of the crayon that matches the color of the stylus. The final stage is gentle and careful sharpening.

The crayons have a hexagonal, slightly rounded shape and a very thick stylus with a diameter of 4.7 mm. In addition, they have unsurpassed luminosity and color purity, excellent hiding power and exceptionally high resistance to the harmful effects of light. The use of the best raw materials, pigments, adhesives and the highest quality cedar wood contributed to the creation of the world's best crayons.

The crayons are placed in an elegant cardboard package and a special sponge, so they do not touch each other.
