Decoupage set with decoupage glue, glazing varnish and matte final varnish.

The water-based decoupage glue is clear, transparent and suitable for gluing paper to any surface, even Styrofoam. The glue gives the ability to move and position the glued elements within seconds of gluing, then it dries and becomes very durable. When gluing napkins, the glue should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:1.

Final matte varnish is used to apply to the decoration to obtain a matte surface and protect it from abrasion. To obtain a smooth surface, it is necessary to apply several coats. It is advisable to sand the well-dried layer with fine sandpaper, 500 or more in thickness. It is advisable to use the widest brush possible - then it is easier to get an even surface. Matte varnish can be diluted with water if necessary.

Water-based cracking varnish can only be used with an aged varnish or gloss varnish. When spread on the aging varnish or gloss varnish, it reacts with it, creating a 'cracking' effect. The cracking varnish can be applied over the aging varnish after about 6 hours (the cracks will then be larger), but before 24 hours - the longer the base varnish has dried, the smaller the cracks will be.
