Liquid painting medium W for oil paints by Schmincke.
The medium is used for diluting oil paints with water instead of solvents such as turpentine or turpentine substitute. The faintly scented thinning medium increases the gloss and transparency of oil paints, reduces their viscosity and harmonizes drying.
The medium should be mixed well before use. Pre-mix 2 parts of oil paint with 1 part of Medium W on a palette, then add water if necessary. If necessary, you can also add more Medium W. Painting equipment can be cleaned with water. The quality of the product is not impaired due to color differences caused by the alkyd resin.
Dosage: 50%.
