The CM-A3 half mat with a thickness of 2 mm is an addition to the CM mat series designed for moderate force cutting with segmented knives, scalpels and cutting circles. The unusual size of the mat is designed to allow for longer cuts without the CM-A3 mat occupying the desk. The mat is two-colored - the beige color of one side makes it easier to cut dark objects, while the dark brown color of the other side increases the visibility of light objects. There is a centimeter scale on both sides of the mat.
"Self-healing" backing mats are an original OLFA technology, which utilizes the ability of the outer layers of the mat to clamp the cuts made on it. These layers are made of soft PVC, so that the blade penetrates the mat, effectively cuts the material and remains sharp for longer. The hard PVC core reduces the risk of cutting, protecting your desk top from damage. The slightly rough surface of the mat prevents the material being cut from slipping. OLFA mats are manufactured using a unique technology exclusively in Japan from specially selected high purity plastics.
Caution:
Mats should be stored lying flat - they cannot be bent or rolled. Protect the mats from heat - do not iron on them. Also do not leave them in direct sunlight. Also do not use MC-45 and MC-45/DX cutting mats.
