Acrylic Structuring Paste by Schmincke is a very lightweight, white acrylic paste with a hard, thick and smooth consistency.
When dry, the structural paste creates a white, matte, even surface with a highly absorbent character. Ideal for creating structural effects also on flexible substrates, such as canvas. The low weight of this paste makes it ideal for covering large surfaces. It dries faster than other acrylic pastes.
The modeling paste is ready to use and should be applied neat or mixed with acrylic paints using a spatula to a greaseless painting substrate. If coatings thicker than 1.0 cm are required, they should be applied in stages. Drying time depends on the thickness of the substrate and can take from a few minutes to several hours. Completely dry paste can be painted with acrylic paints. The product can also be thinned with water but will no longer be water-soluble when dry.
Tools should be cleaned with water or soap and water as soon as possible. Just-dried acrylic paints can be removed with a brush cleaner. Stir before use if necessary. Do not use the product at temperatures below 10°C in objects and rooms. Close immediately after use. Store in a cool and dry place. Protect against frost.
