Produced for many years OLFA 9 mm knife model with symbol A has been completely renewed and marked with symbol A-1. Slender ABS handle with engraved carbon fiber pattern ended with a clip that also acts as a segment breaker fits perfectly into the hand and pocket.

In the new model the shape of the cut-outs in the slide was modified and their number was increased. Modified shape of cut-outs causes automatic blade lock in subsequent positions. Due to the increased number of notches a standard AB/ABB blade can be extended every 1/2 segment length and a 30° SAB/DKB blade every 1/3 segment length. This allows for optimal blade extension for the job at hand.

The blade is designed for comfortable use by both right and left handed users.
