Acrylics Studio by Pébéo are water-based acrylic paints with a satin-matte finish.

Paints are designed for both professional and beginner artists. They are suitable for canvas, painter's boards, cardboard, wood and metal. They keep brush or spatula marks. They can be used in their pure form, as well as with acrylic media or Studio Auxiliaries, which further expand creative possibilities.

The paint colors are bright, deep, richly pigmented and can be mixed together. They have a satin finish and very good lightfastness. Paints have the consistency of thick paste. They are durable, strong and flexible when dry and resistant to deformation. Paint range includes opaque, semi-opaque and transparent colors. The versatile range also offers paints with metallic, iridescent (dyna) and fluorescent effects.

Studio Acrylics metallic effect paints are made from pigments called pearlescent pigments. Pearlescent pigments consist of various raw materials with different refractive indices. They transmit part of the light, reflecting another, giving the paints a shiny effect. They can be used on their own in the same way as standard Studio Acrylics paint colors.
