Matte Medium Liquitex for acrylic paints.

Medium increases depth, transparency and fluidity of paints at the same time increasing their volume. Extends paint life without affecting acrylic stability. Maintains paint adhesion, durability and archival quality.

Mix any amount with acrylic paint to achieve desired consistency and transparency - the more you add, the thinner and more transparent your paint will become. Mix gently to avoid foaming - if air bubbles appear, wait for them to rise and disappear. The medium is translucent when wet, and clear when completely dry. Mix with Gloss Medium to make a satiny, liquid medium. Can be diluted with up to 25% water - distilled water gives best results.

To fix drawings made with pastels, graphite or chalk, mix the medium with distilled water in a 1:1 ratio and apply with an atomizer or airbrush.
