Created to celebrate World Watercolor Month 2022, Kuretake products manufactured in Japan have been selected and composed into attractive sets dedicated to different watercolor painting techniques. The products come with illustrated step-by-step instructions.
"Glazing", or lasering, is a technique of applying successive thin layers of watercolor. The same color can be layered on top of each other (to add depth, darken, or increase hue saturation) or different colors can be layered on top of each other to create new colors. Be sure to dry the area of work before applying the next layer.
