Acrylic Super Retarder by Schmincke is a jelly-like additive for acrylic paints that delays their drying.
It is ideal for "wet on wet" method of painting. The addition of about 20% gel extends the drying time of paints by about 75%. It should be added in the proportion of maximum 50%. Do not use in its pure form! The effect depends on the amount of added medium. The product can be diluted with water.
Tools should be cleaned with water or soap and water as soon as possible. Dried acrylic paints can be removed with brush cleaner. Do not use the product at temperatures below 10 °C in objects and rooms. Close immediately after use. Store in a cool and dry place. Protect against frost. Individual preliminary tests are required.
