The highest quality watercolor wax crayons from the series Neocolor II, Swiss brand Caran d'Ache. They were created as a continuation of Necolor I pastels.

Neocolor II are wood-free, water-soluble wax pastels. With an incredibly wide range of 84 colors, they are an unrivaled product. They are also available per piece, so you can easily compose your own favorite palette of colors. Their main advantages are excellent coverage, very high concentration of pigment, soft and smooth application while maintaining a very high lightfastness. Watercolor pastels are excellent for dry or wet drawing on all surfaces - paper, cardboard, glass, wood, leather, fabric, and stone. What makes them especially special is that they are dust-free on any of these surfaces!

Pastels used with water will become intensely vibrant, luminous, high quality watercolor paint. For a spectacular watercolor effect, blur the finished drawing with a brush moistened in water. Pastel crayons can also be drawn on pre-moistened paper for surprising results. You can also use them after heating - in the technique of encaustics.

Neocolor II watercolour pastels are manufactured to the highest standards, with CE EN71 and AP.
