Cernit® modelling clay is a high-quality modelling material that allows you to create unique and beautiful art projects.

Polymer clay is a versatile and fascinating material that has captured the hearts of craftsmen, artists and designers around the world. Among the many brands of polymer clay on the market, Cernit® stands out for its exceptional quality and endless possibilities. The range allows you to choose from clays with different colors and effects such as Pearl, Metallic, Neon Light, Nature, Translucent, Number One (opaque) and Opaline (gently transparent after baking). All colors can be mixed to achieve the desired shade.

One of the most popular uses for Cernit® modelling paste is to create handmade jewellery. The mass is ideal for creating beads, pendants, earrings and bracelets. It can be shaped, textured and colored to your liking and then baked to create durable pieces. It can also be used to make buttons, brooches, hair clips and unique accessories.

Cernit® modelling clay is also an excellent option for sculptors. With the clay you can create miniature sculptures, figurines, cake decorations (the clay is vegan). It is flexible enough to create small details, yet strong enough to retain its original shape after baking. It is characterised by its ease of moulding, flexibility and durability. It is also suitable for decorative application to plastics such as glass, metal, wood and ceramics.

Before working, the mass should be kneaded thoroughly to make it more flexible. The modelling clay can be sculpted and moulded into any shape you like. It can also be decorated with any materials such as glitter, alcohol ink, metal elements and beads. The additives should be placed in the clay before baking. The odourless mass is pleasant and easy to work with and remains malleable throughout. It does not dry out in the air and does not crack after baking.

The clay can be cured in a conventional oven for 15 to 30 minutes at a temperature of 110 to 130°C (without thermo). The time required to cure an object depends on its size. Objects 1 cm in size only need to be baked for 5 to 7 minutes. The larger the object, the more time in the oven it needs. After firing, it maintains its original shape and color. Do not exceed 30 minutes of firing and a temperature of 130ºC. Also do not use the microwave oven.
