The Derwent Chromaflow series of colour pencils was created to meet the needs of beginners and improving artists - offering a great formula convenient for layering and smooth blending of colors.

All thanks to high pigmentation, creamy texture and silky application on paper. The series also offers 72 exceptionally rich and saturated colors for incredibly realistic drawings. The pencils' strong 3.5mm diameter core guarantees less breakage during use and tempering, and withstands pressure very well.

Chromaflow pencils are distinguished by the fact that they are greasier than Coloursoft, which significantly increases their mixability. Chromaflow is more like drawing with oil pastels, while Coloursoft is more like dry pastels. In addition to Chromaflow's ability to create large, smooth patches of color, the pigments hold up well to a sharp tip, which also allows for fine detail without smudging.

Chromaflow pencils are also softer and silkier than Procolour, which provide greater precision and are suitable for highly detailed work. Chromaflow, on the other hand, are designed for less precise drawings and covering larger areas of paper. They apply easily and allow for multiple layers and beautiful gradations. In addition, they allow you to blend colors incredibly smoothly and produce spectacular gradients. Chromaflow crayons have the same soft and smooth core as Coloursoft pencils, but Coloursofts have a larger diameter and an even softer texture, so they build up color faster. Thanks to their rich pigment, the colors are vibrant and stand out when used on both dark and light papers.
