Pébéo Lino drying retarder provides greater freedom and creativity, while complementing the range of Pébéo media and auxiliaries as a trusted reference for artists.

The retarder slows down the drying time of water-based linocut inks, extending the working time by up to twice as long. This gives artists more time to refine tonal transitions, color mixes, and details. It allows for comfortable work on multiple prints without rushing, ensuring high-quality final results. It is especially recommended for more complex techniques, such as projects requiring smooth color transitions or sophisticated visual effects.

The medium is easy to use, with a recommended ratio of 50% retarder to 50% ink. It can be used with all colors, including duochrome, metallic, and fluorescent inks. It preserves the original properties of the inks, maintaining opacity, miscibility, and color intensity without negatively affecting print quality.
