Sennelier Latour Fixative for Soft Pastels has been specially developed to protect artwork created with soft pastels. Its synthetic resin and alcohol-based formula forms a completely transparent, matte protective layer that fixes the artwork, reduces pigment smudging and dusting, and helps preserve the original appearance of the pastel without altering its character.

Apply the fixative in light, even coats from an appropriate distance, repeating the application if necessary. The clear, non-yellowing formula preserves the natural look and color intensity of pastel artwork while drying quickly to a durable matte finish that effectively protects the surface from smudging.
