Sennelier Fixative for Oil Pastels has been specially formulated to protect artwork created with oil pastels. It forms a completely transparent protective coating with a subtle satin finish, helping to shield the surface from dust, dirt, and accidental smudging.

Based on vinyl resin and alcohol, the fixative creates a durable, clear protective film without affecting the vibrancy of the colors or the character of the artwork. For best results, apply in thin, even coats to achieve optimal protection.

Unlike oil paint, oil pastels never fully dry. Using a dedicated fixative helps reduce dust adhesion and minimizes the risk of damage during storage and transport.
