An innovative product designed for working with pastels that fixes pigment on the paper surface while still allowing further work on the drawing. Its liquid formula effectively stabilizes pigments such as dry pastel, charcoal, graphite, chalk, and sanguine. It can be applied to canvas or heavyweight paper.

The product can be used on Pastelmat paper as well as on other surfaces prepared with an absorbent primer for dry pastels. It gently fixes the pigment layers while deepening the dark tones of Pastelmat paper, without altering the subtle color nuances of the pigments.

After application, the artwork does not need to be protected with a traditional fixative – the surface remains ready for further drawing. The fixed artwork can be safely transported, even rolled or stacked, and then reworked by adding additional layers of pigment. The product gives artists greater freedom and control when creating multi-layer pastel works.
