Gold flake foil is ideal for giving a shiny finish to greeting cards, diplomas, business cards, vignettes, wedding invitations and many other projects using paper. The foil is perfect for decorating many surfaces including: wood, glass, paper, canvas, styrofoam, plastic, wax, ceramic, terra cotta, foil, metal, stone and leather. The foil will add a wonderful metallic finish to your artwork! Foil sheets are extremely easy to use and produce a stunning effect, and can be used together with glue, paste and applied using the dry brush technique.

Cover the decorated surface evenly with a thin layer of water-based gilding glue (mixion). Then apply a sheet of foil over it and smooth it with a brush. The remaining foil is gently removed with a soft brush. Gilding can be protected with varnish or alcohol-based varnish.
