Lefranc & Bourgeois Gilding Liquid is a high-quality ink for making metallic surfaces and for uniform gilding of large areas.

Gilding Liquid gilding ink is based on a solvent with the addition of metallic pigments. These pigments provide intense, iridescent colors and high coverage.

Gilding Liquid is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and can be used on many surfaces, such as paper, wood, clay, glass, plaster and metal. The gilding ink is water and weather resistant once it is completely dry. It is also immediately ready to use and easy to apply.

Before applying Gilding Liquid, shake the bottle well to thoroughly combine the metallic pigments. The gilding ink can be applied with a synthetic brush or sponge roller, which will guarantee even distribution and coverage. When applying a second layer of ink, make sure that the first layer is completely dry (drying time for one layer is 1.5-2 h). Objects made of glass and plastic can be washed after 24 hours of complete drying. Items decorated with gilding paint should not come into contact with food.

One 75 ml bottle covers around 1 m². Do not use on surfaces painted with glycerin-based paint.
