Lefranc & Bourgeois Gilding Wax is a high-quality wax for making metallic accents and uniform gilding of large surfaces.
Gilding Wax gilding paste contains solvent-based pigments that feature intense, iridescent metallic colors with high covering power, resistant to water and weathering after drying.
The wax is ready-to-use and easy to apply. It provides a uniform finish, suitable for indoor as well as outdoor use as a patina on decorative objects such as furniture, frames and surfaces such as paper, wood, clay, metal, ceramic, glass, plaster, metal and many others.
The gilding paste can be applied with a dry cloth, brush or towel. Apply successive coats a few minutes after drying, and polish the finished object 12 hours after drying. Objects made of glass and plastic can be washed after 24 hours of complete drying. Items decorated with gilding paste should not come into contact with food.
Do not use on surfaces painted with glycerin-based paint.
