Founded in 1902, Kuretake was born at the height of Art Nouveau, a movement of beauty that originated in Europe and spread around the world.

Art Noveau is a collection of water-based dye inks inspired by the colors. The inks can be used with fountain pens, glass pens, dip pens, brush pens and Kuretake blank pens. The inks come in six beautiful colors. They will work well for calligraphy and lettering. The inks come in a range of six fantastic colors characteristic of Art Nouveau.

Chrome Yellow - it all started with a color produced in the early 19th century. This bright red-yellow ink, which inspired the entire collection, is one of the representative colors of Art Nouveau.

Perkin Mauve - this color became very popular thanks to the dress worn by Queen Victoria at the World's Fair in Paris. It was an extremely chic and elegant color. It was worn by many women, who can be admired in paintings from that period. The ink contains the world's first chemical dye developed by William Perkin.

Concrete Gray - this ink is inspired by the city created by concrete and color. Although gray is not a traditional Art Nouveau color, it fit harmoniously into the style. This shade perfectly complements other characteristic Art Nouveau colors.

Zsolnay Green - an ink inspired by the color of ceramics produced at the Zsolnay factory in Hungary. In 1886, Zsolnay introduced a material called Pyrogranite. This decorative ceramic was used on many buildings, especially during the Art Nouveau period. Countless monuments in Budapest are decorated with Zsolnay ornaments and tiles. A few examples include Matthias Church, the Parliament and the Great Market Hall. Zsolnay's influence on European architecture can be found on countless buildings.

Old Rose - an ink inspired by the color rose, which was popular in the Victorian era. Old rose is a rather muted, faded shade of pink with a hint of gray. In Art Nouveau it was seen both on walls and in decorative details, furniture or textiles.

Mahogany Brown - a reddish brown color, inspired by the mahogany used for furniture characteristic of Art Nouveau. Furniture made of mahogany in the Art Nouveau style was popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Mahogany, due to its durability, beautiful grain and warm color, was often chosen for furniture production during this period.

The inks was placed in 21 ml bottles.
