Two-component epoxy adhesive in an Epoxide Plus UHU tube.
The surface to be glued must be dry, clean and free from dust and grease. Parts intended for gluing should be degreased with denatured alcohol. Smooth surfaces should be roughened (sandpaper). The ingredients should be mixed with the included bowl and spatula in a 1: 1 ratio. 1 ml of adhesive covers approx. 1 cm² with a layer thickness of 1 mm. It is recommended to wear protective gloves when applying the adhesive. Recommended application at temperatures from +10 ° C to +35 ° C. The product hardens by mixing resin and hardener.
Squeeze equal amounts of both ingredients into the mixing tray provided. Mix well until you get a homogeneous mixture. Brush the items to be glued and join the parts together so that they fit snugly without pressure. The drying process takes approximately 5 minutes at room temperature. The total adhesive strength is achieved after 20 minutes, the final bond strength after 12 hours (both at room temperature).
Certain types of synthetics, such as polyethylene and polypropylene, cannot be glued together. Use a piece of sticky tape to keep the parts in place as the adhesive cures. Wet stains should be removed immediately with warm soapy water. Hardened adhesive residues can only be removed mechanically.
