* The Big Shot Machine can be used with a Bigz, Movers & Shapers, Originals and On The Edge Dies to cut everything from paper and cardstock to fabric, leather and chipboard. The Sizzlits, Framelits, Thinlits and Embosslits Dies will cut paper and thin cardstock and the Textured Impressions Embossing Folders will emboss paper, thin cardstock and thin craft metal.
* Machine and dies can be used to create projects for Cardmaking, Scrapbooking, Papercrafting, Home Dcor, Fashion Embellishment, Jewellery Making and Stationery.
* Multipurpose Platform allows for all Sizzix technologies to be used in the Big Shot machine - excludes Bigz Pro dies. Some technologies require the use of extra accessories, available separately, like Solo Thin Die Adapter.
* Will cut designs up to 6 inches wide and 13 inches long (15.2cm x 33cm).

Machines with the latest deliveries, instead of a platform in the form of sandwich with hinges, include a new standard platform (Standard Platform) and a thin-die adapter (Thin die adapter).

The decision to change the platform type was made by the manufacturer based on research and opinions.

The new type of platform allows for even easier sandwich building and eliminates the risk of breaking the hinges during use.
