113 Synthetic Squirrel series watercolor brushes by Roman Szmal.
The brushes are made of synthetic bristles imitating the valued parameters of squirrel hair. The bristles were mounted on a short wooden handle, varnished with transparent varnish, finished with a brass, nickel-plated cap. The handle of the brushes has an ergonomic shape that widens towards the cap, making it comfortable in the hand. Synthetic bristles offer excellent bounce, precision and high absorbency.
Due to the larger volume of long bristles, they are able to absorb a large amount of paint while maintaining the shape of a point, so that, like smaller sizes, they will be suitable for applying small details and thin lines. They are perfect for painting on larger sizes of paper, especially when you want to apply large stains. The bristles of the brushes phenomenally transfer the pigment of the paints to the paper, do not deform and easily return to the original form of a point.
