High-quality Pastelmat paper from the Clairefontaine brand. It is dedicated especially to work with dry pastels.

The pastels adhere so well to the surface of the paper that you don't need to use a fixative anymore. Additionally, you can apply several layers on top of each other without fear that the drawing will blur. Clairefontaine offers artists paper with a surface rougher than velor and softer than sandpaper. Thanks to the wide range of available colors: from warm and light to cold and darker shades, you can choose the right paper for the nature of your work.

Pastel paper provides excellent color reproduction thanks to the high level of light reflection. The highest quality 100% cellulose fibers were used in the production process. The paper is acid-free and has a neutral pH. It is extremely resistant to multiple corrections and abrasion. Each sheet of paper was additionally secured with a transparent sheet.

The paper is PEFC certified, which guarantees that wood is sourced in a sustainable way, only from certified EU forests.
