Setacolor Cuir Leather is a range of acrylic paints by Pébéo designed specifically for personalizing and repairing natural leather and synthetic leather.

This sera offers a modern range of colors with unique effects: 23 matte-satin colors, 12 colors with metallic, pearl, fluorescent, phosphorescent and duochrome effects. The paints are housed in 45 ml bottles, which are 25% recycled.

The paints should be applied to a surface that has been previously degreased with a degreaser to remove the protective varnish or to get rid of contaminants for optimal adhesion.

Once the surface has been prepared, the paint should be applied in thin layers to achieve an even finish. Paints are fully opaque after 3 thin coats. Each coat should be allowed to dry for at least 15 minutes to avoid dissolving the bottom layer again. You can speed up drying with a hair dryer. The paints can be applied with a brush or airbrush using a thinning aid.

The paints can be mixed with each other to produce a wider range of colors. Depending on the type of leather or imitation leather, the paints can have a more or less matte-satin finish. For optimal and long-lasting results, we recommend applying a protective varnish over the dried paint.

The durability of Setacolor Cuir Leather paints has been validated in a test protocol based on 100,000 repetitions, as well as in a wet abrasion test after 200 cycles according to ISO 11998. This proves that the Setacolor Cuir Leather range is 3 times more abrasion resistant than market standards.
