Pébéo is breaking new ground with Setacolor Cuir Leather markers, designed specifically for painting natural and synthetic leather.

With a thin tip (0.7 mm), you can easily personalize and decorate leather surfaces even in hard-to-reach areas. The markers are perfect for drawing, writing and detail work (without leaving streaks), for use alone or in combination with Setacolor Cuir Leather paints. The colors of the markers perfectly reflect the shades of the paints in the 45 ml bottles.

The markers should be applied to a surface that has been previously degreased with a degreaser to remove the protective varnish or to get rid of contaminants for optimal adhesion. For optimal and long-lasting results, we recommend applying a protective varnish over the dried paint.

Markers in fluorescent colors are best used on bright surfaces. Shake the marker well before use. The tip fills up very quickly, so do not press too hard or for too long, as the paint may flow out of the tip in excess. After drawing a design, put the cap back on the marker to prevent it from drying out. Store markers flat. If the marker tip dries out or becomes clogged, it can be easily replaced.

The durability of Setacolor Cuir Leather markers has been validated in a test protocol based on 100,000 repetitions, as well as in a wet rubbing test after 200 cycles according to ISO 11998. This proves that the Setacolor Cuir Leather range is 3 times more abrasion resistant than market standards predict.
