Watercolor brushes from the Black Pearl series by Roman Szmal.

The brushes are made of a mixture of synthetic and natural bristles. This allowed for the most valued parameters of the squirrel hair. The bristles were mounted on a short wooden handle varnished with black, transparent varnish, finished with a brass cap, galvanized with gold. A shiny mineral pigment was added to the varnish, thanks to which the body of the brushes shimmers like a black pearl. The brush handle has an ergonomic shape that expands towards the cap, making it comfortable in the hand. The use of a mixture of synthetic and natural bristles made it possible to create a brush that combines the features of both materials: synthetic bristles offer excellent elasticity and precision, while natural bristles provide phenomenal absorption.

The bristles of Black Pearl brushes perfectly absorb water and transfer the pigment of the paints onto the paper phenomenally. In addition, its softness allows you to easily change the direction of painting during work. The tip of the brush is perfect for painting small details and fine lines. The bristles do not deform and easily return to their original shape of a point. To obtain a different tip shape, moisten the brush and knead it gently with your fingers, forming the desired shape.
