PRIMAcryl® by Schmincke is a premium-quality acrylic paint line with a high-viscosity, buttery consistency, created to meet the expectations of even the most demanding artists.

These paints combine all the advantages one would expect from top-tier professional acrylics. PRIMAcryl® features modern, high-performance pigments in high concentrations, resulting in extraordinary brilliance, depth, and color intensity. One standout is the Titanium White – exceptionally opaque, with impressive pigment density and coverage, making it perfect for mixing and achieving clean, vibrant tones.

Thanks to the high content of solids, PRIMAcryl® paints dry evenly and form flexible, stable paint layers. Notably, there is virtually no color shift between wet and dry stages, ensuring consistent results. As expected from Schmincke, these paints offer excellent lightfastness (rated 4 or 5 stars), making them suitable for lasting artworks.

PRIMAcryl® paints are pleasantly low-odor, do not yellow over time, and once dry, become water-resistant and highly durable. They can be used straight from the tube or bottle (in the case of PRIMAcryl® Fluid), or thinned with water depending on the desired technique.

Suitable painting surfaces for PRIMAcryl® include stretched canvas, painting boards, acrylic paper, wood, and other clean, grease-free materials.
