The paper is internally sized with a neutral pH, making it fully acid-free and resistant to aging, ensuring the longevity of artworks for many years. It is perfectly suited for watercolour as well as all painting and drawing techniques, offering artists a beautiful, high-quality surface for creative expression.

Khadi Papers is an artist-led brand dedicated to producing high-quality papers for creatives. As early as the 1980s, it was among the first to introduce handmade Indian papers to Europe, working directly with local artisans.

Today, the company operates its own paper mill in South India, where unique papers are made from 100% cotton fibres. Through traditional production methods — hand-forming each sheet, natural drying, and neutral pH sizing — Khadi papers are known for their durability, strength, and true archival quality.

Each sheet is individually handmade, resulting in distinctive deckle edges and an irregular, organic texture. Khadi papers are widely used across artistic disciplines, from watercolour and drawing to painting, providing artists with an authentic and natural working surface.
