The Kuretake Orinote is a unique accordion-style sketchbook inspired by the traditional Japanese Goshuincho—a notebook traditionally used to collect temple stamps and calligraphy. The name Orinote combines the Japanese word ori ("to fold") with the English word note, reflecting its distinctive folding design.

Made with 242 gsm acid-free cold press watercolor paper, it is ideal for watercolor, Gansai Tambi paints, brush pens, and other wet media. Its 32-page accordion (leporello) format provides a continuous surface for panoramic artwork, visual storytelling, and creative projects.

The elegant cover is wrapped in Kataezome Washi paper, handcrafted using a traditional Japanese stencil-printing technique. A decorative washi paper label on the cover can be personalized, adding a unique finishing touch.
