Tom’s Studio inks are known for their smooth, consistent flow and richly layered colour palette, enhanced with a subtle shimmer effect. Creating with them is a true pleasure – the shades are deep, vibrant, and beautifully expressive on paper. Each bottle contains 50 ml of ink, providing plenty for hours of writing, sketching, and colour exploration.

The formula allows for layering and building intensity – from soft, translucent washes to bold, striking lines. Thanks to its highly concentrated pigment, the ink can be diluted with a small amount of water (preferably distilled) to achieve watercolour-like blends and delicate tonal variations. Please note that the final colour may vary slightly depending on the paper, tool, and technique used.

All fountain pen inks are water-based, acid-free, non-toxic, and vegan-friendly. The shimmer version is compatible with Tom’s Studio calligraphy pen holders (Flourish, Carrot, Bloom) and fountain pens (Studio and Studio Pocket).

Please note: due to the shimmer particles, Shimmer Ink is not suitable for use with Lumos, Lumos Mini, or Wren pens.
