Aquapasto from Winsor & Newton is a perfect quality medium for water-based paints. Aquapasto has the consistency of a thick gel, which after drying becomes transparent, without interfering with the color of the work being created. The medium is ideally suited for watercolor paints or gouaches by thickening their color. Using Aquapasto for watercolor paints will reduce their fluidity, because the medium increases the volume of paints.
After drying, the product becomes hard and difficult to remove, so brushes should be washed in warm water immediately after finishing work.
