Masking Ink by Holbein.

It is a latex-based removable medium in a practical bottle with applicator. It is used to protect fragments against painting in works created with watercolor paints, ink or diluted gouache.

Masking fluid can be used on paper, cardboard, wood and many other surfaces. It should be applied on the part of the surface that is to be masked and not covered with paint. When the medium is dry, you can start painting. When the paint is completely dry, simply wipe the masked areas with your finger or an eraser to reveal the painted area. Use masking ink on heavyweight paper, thin paper may tear when scraping the medium.
