Liquid Arabic gum by Schmincke.

Gum can be diluted with water, dries to a wipe-proof form, but is still soluble in water. Improves adhesion when added to watercolor and gouache paints - increases gloss, transparency and color intensity. Gum Arabic concentrate is ready to use, but can be diluted with water if desired. Shake well before use.

The mixing ratio of binder to pigment largely depends on the type of pigment used. Our recommendation: Start with the same amount of binder and pigment, then add the necessary amount to reach the required consistency. The dried paint streaks should have a smooth surface and not peel off when rubbed with a dry hand. If necessary, self-created paints can be diluted with water. They are meant to be used as soon as possible and should only be stored for a few days in screw-top jars. Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from frost.
