Granulating medium for watercolor by Winsor & Newton.

It has a low-viscosity formula that increases color granulation. The liquid slightly slows down the drying of watercolor paints. Granulating liquid is a special liquid medium for watercolor paints. It gives an irregular dotted effect or granular appearance to watercolor paints, whose pigments usually create smooth surfaces. Adding a granulation medium to paints with pigments that are already granulating will further enhance the effect. To make the effect more pronounced, it is best to use medium instead of water and to paint on coarse (rough) paper. A softer effect will be achieved on hot press paper with a satin finish. It is recommended to paint horizontally.
