Bockingford® is an English watercolor paper, traditionally produced using the handmade technique on a cylinder machine at St. Cuthberts Mill. It is a high quality paper made from pure materials that meet the highest archival standards.

Bockingford is a block of acid-free and archival 300 gsm paper made by handmade technology from 100% wood-free chemically bleached pulp. This paper will last for hundreds of years (under good storage conditions) and will not discolor or deteriorate. It features high lightfastness (6+ on the Blue Wool scale). The attractive surface is created using natural fibers, which give it the characteristic texture of wool felt.

The block is appreciated for its excellent color transfer capabilities. It is an extremely forgiving watercolor paper valued by professional artists and amateur artists around the world. The beautiful surface texture adds uniqueness and character to finished paintings.
