The Sugar Cane Hahnemühle paper pad is an innovative watercolor paper from the Natural Line series, distinguished by its eco-friendly composition.
The 290 gsm paper is composed of 70% sugar cane fibers, the residue from the sugar extraction process, and 30% cotton from the textile industry. Thanks to this unique blend, the paper combines the strength of cane fibers with the softness of cotton, creating a warm, naturally white surface with a velvety texture.
Cold-pressed paper is ideal for wet-on-wet techniques, watercolor, gouache and other water-based painting techniques. Excellent water absorption allows for intense, saturated colors without the risk of surface delamination or distortion. The paper copes well with color gradients and accents drawn with thin pens.
