Master's Choice Watercolor Paper is an exceptional product created through the collaboration of world-renowned watercolor artists and the small, family-owned Baohong paper mill.
Initially launched in the Australian market, it gained immense popularity among the most prominent watercolorists, such as Joseph Zbukvic, Alvaro Castagnet, Thomas W. Schaller, Ross Patterson, and David Taylor.
Master's Choice Watercolor Paper, with a weight of 300 g/m², comes in three textures: Hot Pressed, Cold Pressed, and Rough. It is traditionally made on a cylinder mould, ensuring a consistent surface, high durability, and natural porosity, absorbency, and strength. The paper is made from 100% natural cotton and is traditionally sized both internally and externally with gelatin. It offers a unique surface ideal for both professional and delicate watercolor techniques.
The sheets in the blocks are glued on all four sides, eliminating the need to stretch and tape the paper before painting. The glue prevents the paper from warping during the painting process, ensuring a stable surface. Whether you are creating watercolor artwork or drawing with ink, Master's Choice Paper provides an excellent surface for both techniques.
