Crayons of the Swiss brand Caran d'Ache from the collection Luminance 6901 in a wooden case.
The Caran d'Ache brand is a manufacturer of top-quality products for visual artists. In 2008, it introduced premium crayons called Luminance 6901.
These crayons are characterized by a creamy texture, permanent graphite and maximum lightfastness in accordance with ASTM D-6901, which classifies art crayons in terms of photosensitivity. The 3.8mm diameter graphite is wax-based. These crayons allow you to apply several layers of drawing on top of each other and mix colors to create beautiful shading and gradations. Luminance 6901 crayons are made of cedar wood and temper very well. They have been coated with several layers of water-based clear varnish, which is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
The box in which the Luminance crayons were placed was made of top-quality birch wood, covered with a protective varnish in a dark mahogany color. The exterior, as well as the interior of the box, is silkscreened in gold. The case has a gold metal snap closure. The case contains 3 removable wooden trays of 28 crayons each with foam wedges to secure the crayons.
The package contains 76 crayons, 2 blenders and 2 Grafwood HB and 5B pencils.
