J.Herbin is the oldest company in the world that produces pen inks. It was established in Paris in 1700.

The inks are free from artificial pigments and safe for use with fountain pens. They are also non-toxic and have a neutral pH. They are water-based, they write very smoothly and dry quickly. The bottle has a convenient, wide neck allowing for quick and convenient filling of the pen and preventing the ink from escaping outside the packaging.

Perle Noire - the black ink was the first created by Herbin, with an exceptional quality. He gave it the name “Perle Noire” for its preciousness.
