Holbein Linseed Oil Purified is used in painting as a fixing ingredient, giving fluidity, transparency and shine to oil paints. It is extracted from pure linseed. It dries faster than poppyseed oil and yellows easily. The yellowing progresses especially in the dark, but whitens when exposed to light. The paint coating gains a clear finish and is more durable.
