Drehgriffel Nr. 2 Leuchtturm1917 revolving mechanism pencil inspired by the 1920s, featuring a unique design with a hexagonal and lacquered barrel.

Its character is accentuated by the tapered handle zone and contrasting graphite-colored finishes. The tip creates a harmonious transition to the 0.7 mm wide graphite nib. The unique design of the Drehgriffel Nr. 2 pencil was awarded the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2022.

The aluminium housing fits perfectly in the hand, while the metal components ensure perfect balance and a particularly pleasant writing experience. Manufactured in Germany, the rotating graphite ejection mechanism opens the head when the tip is turned and triggers the forward movement of the nib. When the mechanism is released, the grip closes and holds the graphite in place. There is also a compartment inside the barrel for several additional graphite refills, which are instantly reloaded when the previous one wears out.
