Norma® Professional is a top-quality oil paint developed for professional and challenging oil painting, while paying attention to the environment.
The carefully balanced palette, consisting of a total of 84 brilliant shades, includes both classic and modern colors. Among them are 27 exquisite azure shades, as well as several unique special colors. These include not only the extremely light-resistant and opaque shades of chrome yellow, but also poppy red, cobalt turquoise, brown, green, black, gold and silver. Each of the 84 colors has the highest lightfastness (4-5 stars).
In developing Norma® Professional paints, special attention was paid to the use of natural and renewable raw materials. Ecological formulation and innovative solutions are the perfect symbiosis of classic and modern. High-quality, pure blends of vegetable oils ensure excellent adhesion, optimal pigment absorption, and minimize the tendency of paints to yellow. The use of top-class, both traditional and modern pigments in the highest concentration guarantees exceptional coverage, brightness and gloss of all shades. The colors are gently milled on traditional three-shaft mills and matured for 3 months before bottling to achieve the optimal combination of raw materials in a pure oil paint.
Norma® Professional offers the highest quality standards for excellent results. All paint colors feature a balanced, creamy-buttery consistency that ensures excellent painting properties and perfectly brush marks. The optimized formula also guarantees a shortened and uniform drying time for all colors, enabling glossy and durable works.
Norma® Professional can be mixed and combined with all Schmincke oil paints and all oil paint auxiliaries and media without any restrictions.
The following are suitable as painting surfaces for oil paints: sub-paintings, painter's boards, acrylic/oil paper, wood and all other clean, degreased surfaces (preferably primed with a special painting primer).
