Gansai Tambi watercolor paint set with 100 new colors inspired by the Art Nouveau style of the 19th-20th century. The set was created to celebrate the brand's 120th anniversary.

Kuretake Gansai Tambi are traditional, handmade Japanese watercolor paints, developed in collaboration with Japanese artists. By keeping the number of components to a minimum, the paints have a very high concentration of pigment and an unparalleled, exceptionally smooth and creamy consistency. They dissolve perfectly and transfer extremely easily to the brush and then to paper. The production uses traditional methods used in the production of Sumi bar inks, so the paints create beautiful ink-like blurs. The colors are intense and saturated, more opaque than European or American paints. They blend brilliantly. They perform excellently on dark paper. Perfect for a variety of water techniques, illustration, traditional sumi-e or etegami painting. Gansai Tambi watercolor paints are vegan, meaning they have no honey and no bovine yellow. They are also certified by ACMI AP (The Art and Creative Materials Institute), which means that they do not contain toxic ingredients and are safe for human body and health. Therefore, they can be used by children.
