J.Herbin is the oldest company in the world that produces pen inks. It was established in Paris in 1670.
With a range of five luminous shades, Jacques Herbin is pleased to announce the launch of the new 1670 ink
Scarlet red, pulling, thanks to its golden glitter, slightly on the brown, Hematite Red ink is intense and powerful in order to bring majesty and elegance to writing. It evoques the color of the wax that was before used to seal royal edicts.
The inks are free from artificial pigments and safe for use with fountain pens. They are also non-toxic and have a neutral pH. They are water-based, they write very smoothly and dry quickly. The bottle has a convenient, wide neck allowing for quick and convenient filling of the pen and preventing the ink from escaping outside the packaging.
All natural J. Herbin inks and their glass bottles are hand-made in Paris.
