Varnish Remover is a medium designed for cleaning varnished acrylic paintings.
It works by dissolving surface dirt and old varnish. It should be shaken before use. We recommend cleaning small surfaces with cotton balls or cotton buds. However, it should be remembered that the painting from which the old varnish has to be removed, should be entrusted to a competent restorer of paintings. Be very careful and stop the process immediately if the paint starts coming off the painting. Matt UV Varnish, Satin UV Varnish and Gloss UV Varnish can be dissolved with medium.
The mediums allow painters to experiment with the versatility of acrylics: from thick impasto to watercolor-style thrifty painting techniques. The Professional and Gallery Acrylic series offer media, varnishes and varnishes to help artists get the most out of their paints.
