Arches art block for oil painting made of 100% high quality cotton. It perfectly reproduces paper created with the use of artisanal methods.

Arches blocks are created using traditional methods on cylindrical molds. Slow movements of the cylinders allowed for even distribution of cotton fibers in all directions. This process made it possible to obtain a naturally white, high grammage paper that is scratch and abrasion resistant. The block enables the application of paints of different density and grease, and the creation of layers.

The paper core is made of natural gelatin. As a result, it perfectly reproduces the luminosity of pigments and their colors, while preventing the paint from penetrating the block.
